We at AIS have thought carefully about the best way to ensure your child benefits from a genuine all-round education. This can be achieved through a varied and dynamic curriculum, combined with an extensive extra-curricular program offered through our enriching extended school day.
Every pupil has the opportunity to discover interests and talents beyond the classroom, helping them build character, teamwork skills and self-confidence. We plan out annual events in order to make this possible.
Annual events conducted by the school include Prize Giving, Inter-House Sports Meet, Kalai Vizha with the Hindu students and various Competitions such as Debating, Drawing and Essay Writing.
Scouting is another popular activity which engages many students and the school boasts one of the most senior Scouting Teacherโs in the region who has guided the School Scout Troop towards many awards and accolades.
The School Western Band is another one of the preferred activities for the students and performs at all events organized by the school.
Orientation Day is an important part of the Event Calendar of the school where all teachers and parents meet along with the students to get to know each other, discuss progress of students and generally discuss performance and improvements necessary.
